One of the key features of Dr. Martens stock # 12751201 is its special blended PVC outsole. The gummy nature of this outsole promotes slip resistance and shock absorbency.
In addition to meeting the highest ASTM F2413-05 Impact & Compression standards, Dr. Martens stock # 12751201 also complies with its Static Dissipative standards. Static Dissipative safety shoes are geared to those areas dealing with electronic component assembly, but can be worn in work areas requiring only basic protective toe footwear.

Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05. -
