Terra Eclipse Men's CSA Composite Toe Static-Dissipative Puncture-Resisting Athletic Work Shoe
Durable, flexible and comfortable, the Eclipse work athletics by Terra utilizes the latest in technology with ASTM and CSA-certified safety features.
A one-piece knitted upper with TPU overlays and a webbed lacing systems is breathable and lightweight. Cemented to the upper with OmniCore construction is a dual density EVA midsole with with puncture-resisting plate embedded between the layers. The puncture resistance, in combination with a Terra Firma-Flex non-metallic composite safety toe meet or exceeds ASTM F2413 and CSA Grade 1 safety standards for protective toe work footwear. And these work athletics meet standards for static-dissipation. A rubber outsole is is oil- and slip-resisting. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes.
