Steel Blue - Blue Heeler Men's 10-inch Internal Met Steel Toe Waterproof Western Work Boot
The Blue Heeler, by Steel Blue, is a work boot with Western flair. These 10-inch pull-on safety boots have an internal metatarsal guard and are certified to International Safety Standards.
A premium, water-resistant cowhide leather upper is buttery to the touch, reducing break in time. Western stylistic touches are apparent with decorative stitching that follows the lines of this boot, trace the tear-drop pull holes and adorn the bridge of the boot. A square toe continues the Western theme. Once inside, you will appreciates the benefit of Trisole® comfort technology. A full length, removable Ortho Rebound footbed made of Polyurethane offers great comfort and support while maintaining its shape. Beneath the insole, Poron® pads are strategically placed under the heel and other high stress areas to reduce fatigue. A TPU shank provides stability and support.
Direct attach construction affixes a TPU outsole with properties that allow it to withstand most oil and chemicals, extending the life of the boot. A defined heel helps with climbing, giving feet more grip to surfaces.
This Blue Heeler has an ErgoDefender steel toe and internal metatarsal guard that provides impact and compression protection for the tops toes. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
