OrthoFeet Granite Men's 6-inch Composite Toe Electrical Hazard Waterproof Work Boot
Developed by podiatrists and biomechanical engineers, OrthoFeet footwear is designed to improve foot health and supply pain relief, without sacrificing style and performance. Meeting Medicare PDAC A5500 requirements, OrthoFeet work shoes have a soft, seam-free interior, extra depth to accommodate custom orthotics, a wide toe box, a cushioned heel and midsole, and a slip-resisting outsole with mild rocker design.
Every pair of OrthoFeet shoes includes the Ortho-Cushion system, which consists of an ergonomic insole, two sets of fitting spacers and an arch booster set. The ergonomic insole has an embedded cushioned heel pad to relieve pressure. If you’d like additional arch support, a plastic OthoFeet Arch Booster can be positioned underneath the ergonomic insole heel area. The Arch Booster has a curve that extends forward that supplies anatomical arch support. If your foot or heel is slipping inside the shoe, and you want a more secure fit, try adding a spacer underneath the ergonomic insole. Two sets of spacers, in different heights, are available – an 1/8-inch (green) and a 1/16-inch (blue) spacer. Try each set and pick the spacer set that works best for you (or no spacer at all).
Available in all black, the men’s Granite has a waterproof, seam-sealed full-grain leather upper with applied heel and toe abrasion guards. Housed within the round toe is a composite cap that meets ASTM F2413 standards for impact and compression. This shoe also is electrical hazard resisting to the protective toe work shoe standard. Underfoot is a highly cushioned rocker midsole with slightly defined heel for climbing ladders and a rubber outsole with a tread pattern that is certified to ASTM F3445 SR standards on wet and dry tile, making this an ideal shoe for indoor work environments. Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
