Hard Yakka Icon Men's Composite Toe Static-Dissipative Puncture-Resisting Athletic Work Shoe

The ICON series of athletic safety shoes performs like a running shoe, having lightweight and thoughtful construction. This lace-up work sneaker has a synthetic knit upper that is reinforced in high abrasion areas and beacon mesh reflective technology to improve visibility in low light conditions. Certified to Australian (AS), European (EN ISO) and American (ASTM F2413) work footwear safety standards, this ICON PR style has a composite toe cap, is static-dissipative, and supplies puncture-resisting (PR) protection for sharp objects underfoot. Cemented to the upper is a rebounding CME midsole and durable rubber outsole with slightly defined heel. The tread pattern on this athletic shoe allows for transitions indoors to outdoors and supplies slip to SRC and ASTM F3445 standards. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors.
Slip-Resistant
Built with an outsole design and materials that help provide slip-resistance and traction on various surfaces. -
