This lace-up shoe has a breathable black knit upper with pops of brown. Housed within the round toe is a non-metallic composite toe cap that resists up to 75 pounds of impact and compression, and meets the ASTM 2413 standard. This shoe also meets the same ASTM standards for static-dissipation, which makes it a good choice for working near machinery that creates a large field of static electricity, or around computer components. Cemented to the upper is a SupaCush EVA midsole with a flat wedge rubber outsole that tread that is slip-resisting indoors. The interior has a nylon mesh lining and a removable insole. Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.
