Carhartt Detroit Men's Carbon Nano Toe Static-Dissipative Work Shoe
The Detroit, by Carhartt, is a safety oxford with the comfort of an athletic. This canvas lace-up, in a black, has a nano safety toe and is static-dissipative to the ASTM F2413 standard. Cemented to the upper is a LWD midsole affixed to a flat outsole rubber tractions pods that passes ASTM F3445 standards for slip on wet and dry surfaces. Additional features include a nylon shank for arch support, removable Insite Footbed, lining with FastDry moisture-wicking technology and a generous toe box. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.
Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors.
Slip-Resistant
