This Mudrunner has a black neoprene upper. Neoprene is a versatile material that flexes with you and, at 5 mm thickness, also has some thermal properties and is resistant to abrasion and chemicals. An interior Storm Defender waterproof membrane will keep feet dry and is breathable. The FastDry lining wicks away moisture and controls odor. Feet will be comfortable with a lightweight, shock-absorbing EVA midsole. A dual foam Insite Technology footbed provides superior arch support, reducing foot fatigue.
Extending over the ankle and forefoot is Carharrt rubber with an outsole affixed with vulcanized construction, making it leak-proof. This outsole is a standout. Heat, metal, abrasion and chemical-resistant, this outsole is ready for what you step into. The tread pattern on the outsole provides traction, and, with anti-clogging lugs and channels, disperses liquid. A 90-degree heel helps with climbing and, under the arch, is an anti-skid ladder lock grip. These work boots also are ASTM-certified, resisting electrical hazards underfoot and protecting the tops of toes with a strong carbon nano safety toe that won't weigh you down.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
