Carhartt Ground Force Puncture Resistant Men's Black Leather Safety Toe Boots are loaded with the protection you need and built with the comfort features you want to see you through a long day on the job.
The ASTM-certified protective composite toe is light weight with a generous fit and meets standards for impact and compression. CSA-grade puncture resistance provides nail protection. These 8 inch work boots also have certified resistance to electrical hazards with a rubber Ground Force outsole that resists chemicals, oils, heat and slips.
Your feet will be warm and comfortable with 400 grams of 3M Thinsulate insulation and a lightweight, shock-absorbing EVA midsole. An APMA-accepted dual foam Insite Technology footbed provides superior arch support, reducing foot fatigue. The Storm Defender membrane keeps your feet dry yet remains breathable.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
Insulated
Traditional insulation - typically felt orpolyfill material offers a thermal barrierwithout the added benefits of premiuminsulations.
CSA Approved - Sole Puncture Protection with Grade 1 Protective Toe
Grade 1 protective toe will withstand up to 125 joules (50 lbs) dropped from 0.6 m. Sole puncture protection is designed to withstand a force of not less than 1200 Newtons (270 lbs) and resist cracking after being subjected to 1.5 million flexes. -
