Reaching 6 inches in height, this pull-on boot stylishly conceals an internal metatarsal guard and steel protective toe both of which meet ASTM F2413 standards for impact and compression. The upper is made of full-grain leather from an LWG-certified tannery. Cemented to the upper is a rubber outsole that is electrical-hazard resisting to the ASTM F2413 footwear standard. A full rubber outsole with multipurpose tread pattern is certified to ASTM F3445-21 SR standards for slip on dry an wet surfaces; a defined heel helps with climbing. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
