The 3056 series of work footwear is named after Hard Yakka's birthplace in the Brunswick area of Australia. This women's 5-inch lace-up boot, with a YKK quick-release side zipper, is made of nubuck leather in a black color. Certified to Australian (AS), European (EN ISO) and American (ASTM F2413) work footwear safety standards, this 3056 PR style has a composite toe cap, is static-dissipative, and supplies puncture-resisting (PR) protection for sharp objects underfoot. Cemented to the upper is a shock-absorbing Phylon Midsole with flat rubber outsole with repeat geometric pattern that meets SRC Max and ASTM F3445 SR slip standards. Additionally these Hard Yakka boots are built with environment-friendly and post-consumer waste materials such as REPREVE recycled polyester and recycled PET bottles. Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Static Dissipative
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors. -
