Carhartt Lightweight Composite Toe Waterproof Work Hikers are hiking shoes with safety and comfort features.
These shoes have a composite toe that meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. They keep your feet safe as you work. The hikers also meet standards for electrical hazard resistance.
These are waterproof boots, so you can wear these wherever you like without concern that your feet could get wet. Despite being waterproof, the shoes remain breathable.
The rubber lug outsoles are oil-resistant, heat-resistant, slip-resistant and chemical-resistant.
If you need safety shoes, but want a stylish, athletic look, you want these work hikers. The gray and navy blue combination of leather and nylon gives these men's shoes a look closer to sneakers than to work boots.
Inside, Carhartt gives you comfort with a nylon shank for arch support and a polyurethane footbed.
This also is non-metallic footwear. If you work in an industry where it's important to have footwear with no exposed metal — or no metal at all — these hiking boots are a good choice.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
Waterproof
This product is built with quality waterproofing materials to keep you dry in wet environments.
Non-metallic
Constructed using no metal material or parts. Perfect for working environments that require passing through metal detectors. -
