First, these boots are uniform-compliant (AR 670-1) and made in America, so they're also Berry-compliant.
For extra performance, Rocky made these duty boots with a composite toe. It meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. It protects the tops of your toes from falling objects, but doesn't add the weight of a steel toe. For long hikes or patrols, that's definitely something you want to consider.
These boots also have flash-resistant and water-resistant uppers. There's a PTFE coating for flame-resistance and drainage vents to push water out of your boots with every step.
And when you step, you're walking on a Vibram® outsole, a top-of-the line outsole for comfort, flexibility and performance. These boots are just put together well "” from the Vibram outsole to the triple-stitching, you know they are going to hold up.
While long-lasting boots and dry and protected feet are priorities in duty boots, comfort also is important. So Rocky gave these boots a Dri-Lex® lining that wicks away moisture for conditions where your feet could begin to sweat. The Aegis Microbe Shield keeps microbes from getting a foothold. The Rocky Air-Port™ footbed is molded from durable polyurethane. It won't lose its shape or break down, and it circulates air to your feet with every step. A final bit of comfort comes from the LYCRA® tongue that comfortably moves with your foot.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards. -
