    Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.

Georgia Boot Hammer Internal Metatarsal Steel Toe Work Boot is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Narrow fit but overall a nice boot I am a woman who needed met guard/steel toe boots for work. There are not many women's boots that fit this description. So I decided to order these men's boots. I sometimes require a W size in women's shoes, but since these are men I did not order Wide. I wish that I did. The boots were surprisingly narrow (but not too narrow to warrant returning them), however after wearing them around a bit, they loosened up and are quite comfortable. The quality seems good so far. They are a nice color and seem very well made. I have not worn them much yet so I can't say much about their durability currently.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Foot pain I had them for 6-8 months. The right foot was bigger then the left foot. Then after a couple of weeks of wearing them the ball of my right foot really hurt. On the weekends I would where something else and my foot stopped hurting. Then during the work week my foot would hurt again. With as much padding as it has my feet ought to be happy. I’m a manual machinist and I get coolant on my boots. The leather held up nice but the soles are meh. The stitching held nice but the rubber seems like it could use an upgrade. Get rid of that yellow gimmicky cap. That fell out after a couple of months. I bought them from amazon. Maybe I got knock offs I don’t know. I have been happy with other style of Georgia boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from heel broke down after 6 months they where great out of the box light comfortable , but after six months or less the padding in heel broke down no longer absorbing standing on concrete floors when insole was lifted the internal heel support was breaking and the rubber part that sits inside was no longer sitting in place but was imbedded into the cross pieces. the weight on the was not a problem as i am only 5'5" under 200 pounds and athletic build. i work in a warehouse only spend half the day on feet other half is spent at a desk or driving a forklift. i had to put insole on top to make it until next boot order.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from comfortable I strayed away from Georgia boots because they stopped making the boot I always bought and straying was a mistake. I bought a pair of wolverines and they were the worst boots I have ever owned. Just absolutely horrible. They were like ovens and they were NOT insulated. So, I bought these Georgia boots and I am very happy with them. I am a commercial electrician and I am on my feet all day for no less then 10 hours a day. Great boot. Comfortable, not hot, good anti slip properties, steel toe and electrically rated( of course ). You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great metatarsal boots These are the most comfortable metatarsal boots I have ever owned. Very little break in - they are pretty soft from day 1. The cushioning in the insole could be a bit thicker, but that may just be me. I was reluctant to buy boots online without trying them on first, but the day after they arrived, I worked 4 12hr days in them with no chafing or rubbing anywhere. Highly recommended!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Boot I purchased this boot about a month ago. I really liked them.. I did try to break them in. I used them for about 10 Days, The Right Boot was bigger then the left. My foot was sliding around inside, I tried insoles, did not help. I had no choice but to return them. I really wished the left boot would of fit better, I would of kept them and still be wearing them. I never had this problem before. It must of been the Boot and the way it was made. I Would Recommend this Boot, But be sure of the Fit. It is a Really nice Boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! Just bought these G8315 13W. Would recommend them without hesitation. I am a former Marine with abused knees and back. These boots help me work 10+ hour days on my feet climbing & kneeling. I have tried Bellevilles, Danners, & Red Wings. These win hands down IMHO especially for the price!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from style and comfort My husband was having trouble with pain in the ball of his foot. I researched and found these boots designed for that problem. He really likes these boots and doesn't complain about pain. He like the style as well. He's had several compliments and referred coworkers to this website.
