The men's Timberland PRO Jigsaw delivers on safety with metatarsal and toe protection that meets ASTM standards.
A steel safety toe meets F2413 I/75 and C/75 impact and compression safety standards. Built within the Jigsaw work boot is a SKYDEX internal metatarsal (met) guard with SmartHinge technology that is flexible for everyday wear, yet hardens upon impact, helping to protect the tops of feet. The Jigsaw also provides ASTM-tested resistance to secondary electrical hazards underfoot. A non-marking Timberland PRO Rubber outsole resists abrasion, oil, and slipping. And has exceptional heat resistance - up to 572 degrees F.
This 6-inch lace up boot has a premium full-grain brown leather upper that is durable and comfortable. Flexible cement construction allows you to move and bend easily. Timberland PRO's Anti-Fatigue Technology reduces shock and return energy to the foot with a molded-EVA midsole that absorbs impact and a fiberglass shank for arch support.
Inside the boot a mesh lining with antimicrobial treatment controls odor. The removable contoured single-density open-cell polyurethane footbed has an antimicrobial cover for breathable comfort and additional odor control.

Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards. -
