Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.
CSA Approved - Grade 1 Protective Toe only
Grade 1 protective toe withstands impacts up toe 125 Joules. Comparable to a 22.7 kg (50lb) weight dropped from 0.6 m.
CSA Approved - SD
The outer soles are made from an antistatic compound, chemically bound into the bottom components, capable of dissipating an electrostatic charge in a controlled manner.

They do not disappoint! They are comfortable at the end and very fashionable. You can feel the steel toe however when your foot bends in a walking motion. Also I cut the white ends up top on both sides to make it less tight.
Are these zero drop shoes (the toe and heel are at the same height)?
Asked by: Jakki
We have never really considered our collections in terms of being zero-drop but we did review the Jessica MW482072 today, and coincidentally it appears very close to zero-drop. I say coincidentally because we did not design it intentionally to be zero-drop. If you remove the insole the heel is at the same height as the ball of the foot. With the insole in place the heel may be a millimeter or two higher than the ball, but it is pretty close. You can see that our insole tapers a little as it gets closer to the toes. This is to give the toes more space underneath the steel toe.
