With the KEEN Utility® Helena you get safety features needed for an industrial work environment in a work hiker - constructed for a woman's foot.
This rugged KEEN Utility® work hiker has a 6 inch waterproof full grain leather upper in a dark grey color identified as magnet with black accents. KEEN UTILITY® Dry waterproof breathable membrane keeps the water out and your feet dry. An asymmetrical exterior toe cap gives abrasion resistance to this high-wear area of the boot. Underfoot, the KEEN Utility® removable anatomically designed footbed delivers support for your arch and the natural contours of your feet.
The Helena has protection you can count on. An ASTM F2413-rated internal composite protective toe is light weight yet strong - keeping toes protected from falling objects and rollover. This boot also meets or exceeds the ASTM F2413 electric hazard standards, providing you with a secondary protection against accidental exposure to live currents. The KEEN UTILITY® Grip outsole is oil- and slip-resistant. As an added benefit, this outsole is non-marking and has a defined heel ideal for climbing.
You will be able to wear these boots all day in comfort. The Helena is built on a woman's last. KEEN KEY-TEX FLEX in the dual density EVA midsole provides flex and support while also absorbing impact with each footstep. A removable metatomical footbed fits the contours of your foot and provides arch support. While the moisture-wicking lining with Cleansport NXT™ helps with odor control.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75

Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
