Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Footwear is constructed of materials that, when in contact with properly grounded floor surfaces, will safely discharge static build-up through the shoe to the floor. Our testing experience contributed to the SD standard established in Section 6 of the ANSI Z41 and carried over to ASTM F2413-05.

Very StylishI've worn them for a couple of weeks now 8 to 12 hrs a day. I own several styles of Florsheim shoes and they do not disappoint. Very comfortable from the start and even more so as they break in.
A size 8.5 and wide width will fit. For the width, should select 3 or D for wide width?

For this Florsheim Style: FS2023 if you normally wear a wide width I would suggest you go with the 3E width because the D width would be for a medium width shoe. As I always suggest when your shoes arrive try them on in a clean environment and if for some reason you do not like the fit Lehigh Safety Shoes offers Free & Easy Returns.
