Modern materials combined with a classic features make the Newman Plus men's protective work boot by DEWALT a standout.
Immediately the Newman Plus is set apart from other work boots. The vamp on this 6-inch work boot is Kevlar. Why Kevlar? Kevlar, well known for use in tactical product, is lightweight, strong and highly abrasion-resistant, giving you boot that hold up to hard wear. Quality black leather extends from the vamp around the back where the boot is reinforced for kickoff. The leather then extends up to the padded collar of this lace-up boot.
ASTM-certified, the Newman Plus is electrical hazard resisting and has a steel protective toe. An EVA and rubber outsole has a tread that transitions from indoors to outdoors. The 90-degree heel locks on, helping with climbing; a ProComfort shank supports arches. A quality, removable ProComfort insole makes these lightweight work boots comfortable.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards. -
