Chippewa Serious+ Men's Internal Met Carbon Nano Toe Puncture-Resisting Waterproof Work Boot

The Serious+ has a full-grain leather upper that is waterproof. At 6 inches in height, this boot laces up for proper fit and supports ankles with a padded collar. Goodyear leather welt construction securely affixes the upper to a Vibram outsole that is durable.
The Serious has you covered with ASTM requirements. A carbon fiber toe protects from impact and compression, an XRD material metatarsal guard hardens upon impact, helping to protect the sensitive bones on the tops of the feet from dropped objects and a puncture-resisting board helps protect the soles of feet from sharps you may step upon. And these boots also meet standards for resisting electrical hazards.

Protective Toe
Impact testing determines the amount of protection to the toe under various foot pounds of force. Compression testing determines the amount of static pressure a steel/composite toe cap can withstand. Our boots are I75/C75
Electrical Hazard
Footwear is built with nail-free construction using steel composition toe caps to help insulate you from the ground retard conduction, but is not intended to be primary protection against electric shock. Leather footwear must be dry. Our electrical hazard boots meets and exceeds ASTM F2413-05 electrical hazard standards.
Puncture Resistant
PR footwear reduces the possibility of sharp objects (nails, glass or metal) penetrating through the outsole causing injury to the foot. Protection is provided by a steel or puncture resistant material imbedded in the insole of the footwear.
Metatarsal Guard
Footwear offering metatarsal protection is designed to prevent or reduce injuries when the toe and metatarsal areas of the foot are exposed to "drop" hazards. Metatarsal protection safety shoes may be constructed with either internal or external metatarsal guards.
